Persie ("we", "us", "our") provides UK-focused financial calculators and insights
for informational purposes. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use,
and protect your data when you use the Persie app (iOS, Android, or web) and
related services.

1. Data we collect
- Account information: email address, authentication identifiers, and account
  settings if you create an account.
- Calculator data: calculation inputs, saved scenarios, labels, and related
  results you choose to save.
- Subscription data: plan type, subscription status, and provider identifiers
  (we do not store full payment card details).
- Support communications: information you include when contacting support.

If you use the app without an account, your scenarios are stored locally on
your device and are not synced to our servers.

2. How we use your data
- Provide the calculator features and save your scenarios.
- Sync scenarios across devices when you are signed in.
- Generate AI insights based on your saved scenarios.
- Process subscriptions and manage premium access.
- Respond to support requests and improve app stability.

3. AI insights processing
When you request AI insights, we send relevant scenario data to our secure
server and then to OpenAI for processing. We do not send your email address or
other direct identifiers with these requests. Insights are returned to the app.

4. Third-party services
We use trusted providers to operate the app:
- Supabase: authentication, database, and edge functions.
- OpenAI: AI insight generation (via our server).
- Apple App Store / Google Play: in-app purchases and subscription management.
- Stripe: web payments and billing portal (where applicable).

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and terms.

5. Data storage
- Local storage: scenarios are saved locally on your device by default.
- Cloud storage: if you sign in, scenarios and account data are stored in
  Supabase.

6. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your
account, we permanently remove your account, saved scenarios, subscriptions,
and profile data from our systems. Local data is removed from your device when
you delete scenarios or uninstall the app.

7. Account deletion
You can delete your account in the app:
Settings > Account Settings > Delete Account.
This permanently removes your account and associated data.

8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Export your data
- Delete your data
- Object to or restrict processing

9. Children's privacy
Persie is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data
from children under 13.

10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored securely.

We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will
provide notice in the app or by updating the date at the top of this page.
